I recently bought this plasma TV, my first TV-after study on Consumer Reports (highest score (82) all 50 "plasma assessed by the CR) and actually go to Best Buy to visually compare the image quality all others on their wall TV. based on the features of this TV, and the price considerably lower than the others, especially other LCD, I made the purchase.

This is my first review and my first jump into the arena of HDTV. I waited for some time to buy an "almost perfect" TV on the cheap. If my eye on the 55XBR8, which probably has a superior image quality thanks to LED backlighting. In the race was the Super Slim Samsung B8000. I have turned off the Samsung because of its limited connectivity, and a review written by the owner of one who said that the board of backlighting caused a halo effect around the TV in a dark room. I decided to go with the 52XBR9 because of its moderate depth, hidden speakers, built-in Internet video and widgets, and the price much more resonable than the 55XBR8.

Great TV! It arrived in perfect condition and delivery was, as we agreed. HD picture quality is fantastic. So easy to hang on the wall, as my wife and I were able to do so.
